UTStarcom has acquired Pedestal Networks, a developer of innovative universal broadband solutions. Pedestal Networks’ patent portfolio, including at least eleven US and international patents, was written, filed, and managed by Elliot Furman of patentauthority.com. Pedestal’s patent portfolio was crucial in taking a simple idea and building a company which raised $34 million in financing and employed 57 people.
